Schedules of fees and charges
Forestry Plantations Queensland sells its forest resource as standing timber to Queensland’s regionally based timber industry. A small amount of miscellaneous forest product, including foliage sales, and other plantation forest-related activities, including bee-keeping and grazing, are also provided. Forest product sales are undertaken via a commercial tendering processes leading to sales agreements for varying periods (from “spot” sales to agreements from 1 to 10 years). No sales are made to the general public and prices paid under the commercial tendering process are commercial-in-confidence.

Our priorities

Statement of corporate intent (as tabled in the Queensland Parliament)
Forestry Plantations Queensland operates under an Operational Plan, which is an annual performance contract with the Corporation’s responsible Ministers that provides a governance framework for the Corporation and sets its operational and financial targets and performance criteria. The 2009–10 Operational Plan is currently being prepared for tabling in State Parliament early in the new financial year. An online version of the Operational Plan will be available here when the document is formally tabled.

Policies on delivering services
Forestry Plantations Queensland’s forest product sales are undertaken via a commercial tendering processes leading to sales agreements for varying periods (from “spot” sales to agreements from 1 to 10 years). Forestry Plantations Queensland’s major services are provided to its customers under the terms and conditions of these commercial contracts and, as such, are commercial-in-confidence.

Forestry Plantations Queensland is also responsible for public recreation in State Plantation Forests under its control.
